LA: VVGV 85 (2025)
Spitfire is a coming FF 2 year old. She has had an amazing season as a dry yearling in both earning her dry leg and multiple Reserve champion placings. Spitfire has freshened with a beautifully balanced and well attached udder. For a FF she is very productive, and maturing will only enhance her as she grows.

Metallica was not a planned addition, I was casually looking to add another milking alpine, and she just happened to be exactly what I was looking for. Friends helped with transport and she arrived in April 2025. I quickly learned what an amazing doe she is and she became the showmanship doe for my son. She is patient and perfect for a young showman to learn with. Metallica has also ventured with me to PR events with homesteads. Her general appearance is on e of the best I have ever seen and she took a reserve at her first show out representing our farm .
Shady Lawn PJBA Sage
March 16, 2023
LA: VEVG 86 (2025)
Sage is the first Shady Lawn doe we added to our herd. This do has incredible dairy strength and length of bone. Her feet and legs are absolutely immaculate. She opted out of being a dry yearling much to my surprise, but now with a second freshening this two year old is on her way to earning her milk star.

Recorded Grade top milker 2023, 2024, 2025 one day milk test
I won't lie, Cassie is one of my favorite goats. She is a product of my grade alpines. Her dam, Claire, had to be registered NOA due to the previous owner losing the service memo. Now Clair, she was a goat that refused to ever walk forward and frequently gave me reasons to use foul language, but man did she produce the best daughters! Claire is no longer with us, but her legacy goes on. Cassie holds her own with dairy strength, depth of body, spring of rib, and well set legs from her sire, Dax . Cassie was the first homebred doe to earn a grand champion, and yes you get a story here. While I was trying to teach my son (age 6 at the time) how to show a goat (2 baby saanens in the next ring with one being Mischief the drama queen) I had asked a friend to take Cassie in the champion line up. The next thing I knew, she was going to the judges table to get her ears checked and my husband was off to get her papers. That was when I knew my breeding program was going in the right direction. Cassie has continued to be first in her class at almost every show. After a nasty experience with mastitis, Cassie has risen above and beyond and is competitive once again! Her first show out after a 6 month battle earned her a grand and reserve in 2025. She has a fantastic LA score and continues to earn the top milker for the Mid Summer show one day milk test.

What to say about Mischief! This goat also came to us from across the country as a 2 week old baby so we could start our saanen herd. She was a firecracker! If you tried to walk her as a baby, she would throw herself on the ground and scream bloody murder. Can we say drama goat? As she got older, she got much much better in the show ring, and eventually became my son's showmanship goat for the remainder of 2022. For the Kentucky state fair in 2022 Mischief became a dinosaur. In 2023, she was a scuba diver. As she has grown into herself, Mischief is not only relaxed and willing to wear some weird getup with my son, but her breeding is starting to shine through. Her attributes are very dairy and elegant, and her build is very correct. She delivered a set of beautiful twin does on May 18 2025.

Feel it baby, more commonly known as Pickles is the start to our sable herd. Purchased from a 4-H breeder, we are beyond thrilled to have this doe. She is the first doe we have finished on our farm. 2024 has been filled with GCH and RGCH wins due to Pickles. We are very excited about her future in the show ring and in production. Even as a FF, she is the highest volume milk producer in the herd and she ever brought home the milking win for the Mid Summer Show milking competition in sables two years in a row. Pickles ended her show season taking Reserve Grand in AOP at NAILE.

Diego, lovingly known as Ruby in the barn is an up and coming 2 year old that we just welcomed to the farm this past June. This doe has so much elegance and dairy strength as a young doe. When her udder fills it is so correct and upon being milked she will have the most emptied out udder in a lineup. Ruby has some amazing features, but she just needs to mature. She has already gotten a great start on her show career and I am excited to see where it takes
her.
